NSi Principals
The management team and technical personnel are specialists in understanding and using
microcomputer technology in the broadcast industry. Services include software development,
integration and installation of computer systems and managing the use of computing systems and
products.
Irene S. Nesbit
Irene S. Nesbit is President of NSi. She has over thirty years experience in data processing -
from programming to management. Her prior experience includes positions as Director of Analysis,
MIS at NBC; and Associate Department Head at The Rand Corporation, with responsibility for
defining, organizing and managing computer users for all Rand research projects. She started NSi in
1981. Her B.A. degree is from the University of Chicago. Irene is an experienced executive. She is
the strategic leader and manager of the company. Her relationships among other industry executives
in the media industry are without parallel.
Ken Michielsen
Ken Michielsen is Executive Vice President of NSi and has been with the company since 1982. He
received his B.A. degree from Princeton University and his Masters Degree from New York University.
He has managed numerous software development projects for both public and private companies,
including Mathematica Policy Research, New York University, the Human Resources Administration for
New York City and the systems support NSi provided to NBC and CBS for four broadcasts of the Olympic
Games. He is responsible for managing all of NSiviews, project deliverables, budgets and staffing.
